It flowers in 9 to 10 weeks, grows easily indoors or out and yields 300 to 400 g/m² in a tent. The feminized seeds are already in Canada, viability tested in Vancouver and shipped across the country in 3 to 7 business days.

CB Diesel Feminized at a glance: CB Diesel is a 70/30 sativa leaning, CBD dominant strain that flowers in 9 to 10 weeks, tests 15% to 20% CBD with THC under 1%, and gives 300 to 400 g/m² of lemon, tropical fruit and diesel scented buds with a clear-headed, non-intoxicating character.

High CBD, almost no THC, and still shipped the same careful way from Vancouver

In Canada a high-CBD plant is still cannabis under the law, so CB Diesel counts toward your household plant limit and should be bought from a seed bank that treats it like any other strain. Ours ship from our Vancouver, BC seed bank in plain, unbranded packaging and reach every province in 3 to 7 business days without crossing a border. Each batch is viability tested here before sale and covered by our 80% germination guarantee, and every 10 and 25 seed pack is buy one get one free.

Where CB Diesel comes from

The CB Diesel strain is a cross of Harlequin and Turbo Diesel. Harlequin is one of the best known CBD rich strains, descended from Colombian Gold, a Thai sativa and Swiss landrace genetics, and it is the reason this plant carries so much CBD. Turbo Diesel comes from the Sour Diesel family and contributes the fuel aroma, the sativa structure and a vigorous growth habit. The breeding goal was simple: keep the Diesel flavour and remove nearly all the THC.

The result is sativa leaning at roughly 70/30 and CBD dominant. The CBD figure most often quoted is around 20%; well grown plants usually test in the 15% to 20% range, with THC staying under 1%. That ratio is the point of the strain, not a side note.

CB Diesel strain effects and experience

With THC under 1%, CB Diesel does not produce the high people associate with Sour Diesel. Most users describe it as clear-headed and calm, with a light, easy mood and no fog, anxiety or heaviness afterward. You can use it during the day and carry on with work, conversation or errands as normal.

If you have only ever tried high-THC Diesel strains, the difference is immediate: the smell and taste are familiar, but the racing, heady rush never arrives. Some people mix a little CB Diesel with a THC strain to soften it; others use it on its own when they want the flavour and nothing more. Either way, the effect is subtle, so judge it over a few sessions rather than one.

That makes it a different kind of strain rather than a weaker one. It suits people who enjoy the ritual and flavour of cannabis without the intoxication, or who want a low-THC option to balance a stronger strain. We do not make health claims for CBD strains; if you are considering CBD for a medical reason, speak to a doctor.

CB Diesel flavour, aroma and appearance

Lemon leads, sharp and sweet, followed by tropical fruit and a sweet-and-sour note on the exhale. Behind the fruit is the unmistakable gasoline smell of the Diesel family, strong when the plant is in flower and softer after a good cure. Myrcene, limonene and caryophyllene are the main terpenes.

The buds are elongated and a little looser than an indica’s, lime green with orange pistils and a healthy layer of resin. The plant stays green through harvest, with long, narrow sativa leaves.

Growing CB Diesel in Canada

Indoors

CB Diesel is an easy grower. A four week veg and a flip at 35 to 45 cm gives a finished plant of about 80 to 140 cm, since the sativa side stretches roughly twice its height in early flower. It prefers 22 to 27 degrees during the day, a medium feed and humidity around 50% to 55% in veg, dropping to 45% in late flower. Training with low stress ties or a screen of green keeps the stretch under control and improves bud size.

Outdoors, by region

A flower of 9 to 10 weeks means an outdoor harvest between late September and mid October, so CB Diesel is best suited to the BC coast, the southern Okanagan and southern Ontario outdoors. Transplant after the last frost in late May, choose a spot with full sun and shelter from strong wind, and cover it during heavy rain late in the season. In the Prairies, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces, a greenhouse or indoor tent gives a more reliable finish.

Height and training

Top once at the fourth node and spread the plant into a wide, even shape with low stress training. CB Diesel branches well and responds to a single trellis net, which also protects the longer colas from wind outdoors. Remove the smallest lower branches before flowering to focus growth on the main tops.

Flowering and harvest cues

Expect 63 to 70 days of flower. Check trichomes from about day 60; with a CBD strain, the aim is simply mature resin, so harvest when most heads are cloudy with a few amber. Dry for 10 to 14 days at about 60% humidity and cure for at least two weeks, which rounds the diesel and brings out the lemon.

CB Diesel yield indoors and outdoors

Indoors, a trained canopy of CB Diesel returns about 300 to 400 g/m². Outdoors in a warm southern Canadian season, a single plant can give 400 to 500 g. That is a moderate yield, and for a CBD strain it is a practical one, because the flower is used differently from high-THC strains.

Who CB Diesel is for, and who should pick something else

Grow CB Diesel seeds if you want a Diesel flavour without the high, an easy plant for a first CBD grow, or a low-THC strain to keep alongside stronger ones. It is also a good way to learn training on a plant that forgives mistakes.

Pick something else if you want a noticeable THC effect or a fast outdoor finish in a short-season region. If you prefer a softer, more balanced CBD strain, CBD White Widow offers a gentler earthy profile.

How CB Diesel compares

Sour Diesel is the THC-rich relative behind Turbo Diesel, with the same fuel smell and a very energetic high. CBD Hemp Star is our other very low THC option, with a spicy, citrus profile. CB Dream suits growers who want some CBD alongside a berry flavour. CB Diesel belongs to our high CBD seeds, and our outdoor cultivation guide covers the late-season care it needs.

Frequently asked questions about CB Diesel

Does CB Diesel get you high?

No, CB Diesel does not produce a typical high. It has THC under 1% and CBD in the 15% to 20% range, so most people find it clear-headed and calm rather than intoxicating. Tolerance varies, so start with a small amount.

What is the CBD to THC ratio of CB Diesel?

CB Diesel is strongly CBD dominant, with about 15% to 20% CBD and less than 1% THC. That is roughly a 20 to 1 ratio or higher, which makes it one of the lowest-THC strains we sell.

What does CB Diesel taste like?

CB Diesel tastes of sweet lemon and tropical fruit with a sweet-and-sour finish, backed by the gasoline smell of the Diesel family. Myrcene, limonene and caryophyllene are the main terpenes. A slow dry and two weeks of cure soften the fuel and bring out the lemon.

How long does CB Diesel take to flower?

CB Diesel flowers in 9 to 10 weeks indoors, or 63 to 70 days after the switch to 12/12. Outdoors it finishes between late September and mid October, which suits coastal BC and southern Ontario best.

Why CBD growers want a seed bank that labels low-THC strains honestly

A CBD strain is only useful if the numbers on the pack are realistic, which is why we list CB Diesel as a range instead of a single headline figure. Every order leaves our Vancouver, BC seed bank in plain, unbranded packaging and arrives at Canadian addresses within 3 to 7 business days. Orders over $200 ship free, and a $30 tracked and insured option includes one free reshipment if a parcel goes missing.

We have operated in Vancouver since 2009 and test every batch for viability before listing it. Use the cup of water and paper towel method in our germination guide and your pack is protected by our 80% germination guarantee. With buy one get one free on every 10 and 25 seed pack, CB Diesel pairs easily with a THC strain of the same size, and orders over $420 add 10 free seeds.
