Southern Ontario works only in a greenhouse or with a light deprivation tarp pulled in early August. In Quebec, on the Prairies and across the Atlantic provinces there is no realistic outdoor window, and the honest advice is to run it in a tent. Height and training

Top twice and run a screen, because left alone the plant builds one dominant spear and leaves the lower branches underdeveloped. Tie the main branches out in the first two weeks of flower while they still bend, since they lignify fast and will snap rather than move afterwards. Outdoors, stake every major cola by week six, because these buds get heavy enough to break a branch in an October storm.
