Bubba Fett Strain Feminized Marijuana Seeds

Price range: $65.00 through $240.00

Bubba Fett strain seeds grow a short, stocky indica that marries the hashy calm of Pre-98 Bubba Kush to the sharp fuel of Stardawg. Expect 20% to 28% THC, a nose of sweet berry, lemon peel, sandalwood and diesel, and a heavy, contented body feel that suits late evenings. Most plants finish in 7 to 9 weeks and stay between 70 and 120 cm indoors, which makes this one of the quicker strong indicas you can raise in a closet tent. Our feminized Bubba Fett seeds are already in Canada, packed in Vancouver, BC and delivered domestically in 3 to 7 business days.

Bubba Fett Feminized at a glance: Bubba Fett is a roughly 70/30 indica leaning cross of Pre-98 Bubba Kush and Stardawg that blooms in 7 to 9 weeks, tests 20% to 28% THC, grows 70 to 120 cm indoors and returns 350 to 500 g/m² of chunky, resin-coated buds smelling of berry, lemon, cedar and fuel.

An early finisher for Canadian gardens, mailed from the West Coast

A strain that can be done by the last week of September is worth a lot in a country where October often brings the first hard frost. Bubba Fett is one of those, and the seeds do not have to travel far to reach you: we keep them in stock in Vancouver, BC and mail them in a plain, unmarked parcel that lands anywhere from Nanaimo to Gander in 3 to 7 business days, with no customs declaration involved. Each lot is germination tested before it goes on the shelf and backed by our 80% germination guarantee, and the 10 and 25 seed packs are buy one get one free.

Where Bubba Fett comes from

Bubba Fett joins two very different American lines. The mother is Pre-98 Bubba Kush, the famous cut from the late 1990s that set the standard for coffee, chocolate and hash flavoured indicas; its own roots are usually traced to a Kush landrace and an early OG plant. The father is Stardawg, a Chemdawg 4 and Tres Dawg cross with a loud, sour fuel nose and a lot of resin. Put together, the Bubba side controls the shape and the depth of the effect, while the Stardawg side sharpens the smell and adds some lift to the first half hour.

The name is a pun on a well known armoured bounty hunter from a certain space saga, and it causes a steady stream of “Boba Fett strain” searches. Most of those searches are looking for this plant, simply spelled the way the character is. You may also come across an unrelated autoflower sold under the same name with a completely different family tree. Our seeds are the photoperiod Bubba Kush and Stardawg version.

Bubba Fett strain effects and experience

Bubba Fett arrives quickly. Within a few minutes there is a warm rush behind the eyes and a lighter, happier mood, a little brighter than plain Bubba Kush thanks to the Stardawg father.

The second act is all Bubba. The shoulders drop, the legs get heavy and, by the one hour mark, most people are settled into the couch with no plans to move. With THC between 20% and 28%, a small session is plenty.

Bubba Fett flavour, aroma and appearance

A cured jar opens with sweet berry and lemon zest, followed by sandalwood, damp earth and a cheesy, skunky funk. Breaking a bud releases sour diesel and pepper from the Stardawg side. On the inhale the smoke is smooth and woody with a citrus edge, and the exhale leaves spice, hash and a faint coffee bitterness from the Bubba Kush mother. Myrcene, limonene and beta-caryophyllene lead the terpene mix, which explains the pairing of fruit, citrus and pepper.

Buds are thick and rounded, forest green with a dusting of lavender when nights cool, and covered in a sandy layer of trichomes that makes them look almost grey. Pistils are short and copper coloured.

Growing Bubba Fett in Canada

Indoors

Bubba Fett is a forgiving indoor plant. Four weeks of veg and a flip at about 40 cm usually ends at 70 to 120 cm, since the stretch is only around 1.3 to 1.5 times. Day temperatures of 21 to 26 degrees suit it well, with nights five or six degrees cooler late in flower. Feed at a moderate level and add calcium and magnesium under LEDs; Kush lines often show rusty spotting on fan leaves when magnesium runs short. Because the colas are dense, aim for 40% to 45% humidity from week five and keep a fan moving air through the lower canopy. Most phenotypes are ready between day 49 and day 63, with Stardawg leaning plants at the longer end.

Outdoors, by region

The quick bloom makes Bubba Fett one of the better strong indicas for Canadian outdoor gardens. On the BC coast, in the Okanagan and in southern Ontario, a late May transplant is commonly finished in the last ten days of September, ahead of the October rains. Quebec, the Ottawa Valley and the Maritimes can expect the end of September to the first days of October; pick the sunniest corner of the yard and keep the plants out of low, damp ground. On the Prairies, germinate indoors in April, harden the seedlings off in mid May and plant out after the last frost; the compact frame is easy to drape with frost cloth if a cold snap arrives in late September.

Height and training

Top once at the fourth or fifth node, then use soft ties to pull the branches outward into a flat canopy. Bubba Fett has tight internodes, so opening the plant up does more for airflow and bud quality than for raw yield. Remove the smallest growth from the bottom third a few days before the flip and again around day 21. Our low stress training guide explains how to bend branches without snapping them.

Flowering and harvest cues

The pistils turn copper early, often by week six, so rely on the trichomes. Check with a loupe from day 49: milky heads with roughly 10% amber give the full lift and body effect, while 20% amber pushes it firmly toward sleepy. Hang whole branches to dry for 10 to 12 days at around 60% humidity and 18 degrees, then cure in jars. The lemon and berry notes fade if the dry is too warm, and the sandalwood and fuel need about three weeks in the jar to come together.

Bubba Fett yield indoors and outdoors

A trained indoor canopy produces 350 to 500 g/m², with the top of the range coming from a good LED and a full screen. These are heavy, compact buds, so the dried weight holds up well against fluffier strains. Outdoors, a full season plant in rich soil gives 450 to 800 g.

Who Bubba Fett is for, and who should pick something else

Grow Bubba Fett if you like old school Kush flavour with a modern fuel kick, need an evening strain that finishes before the October rain, or work with a short tent or a balcony. A pack of Bubba Fett feminized seeds also makes sense for growers who have run Bubba Kush before and want something a step stronger.

Pick something else if you want a lively daytime strain, a tall plant for a big outdoor bed, or a sweet dessert profile without any diesel or earth.

How Bubba Fett compares

Bubba Kush, the mother line, is softer and more chocolate led, with a gentler, slower effect. Chemdog sits behind the Stardawg father and shows where the sour fuel comes from on a taller, more cerebral plant. Kush Mints is another modern Bubba Kush child, trading the diesel for mint and cookie dough. OG Kush is the West Coast cousin with more lemon and pine. Among our indica feminized seeds, Bubba Fett is one of the quickest strong options, and our fast flowering seeds guide lists others that finish in September.

Frequently asked questions about Bubba Fett

Is Bubba Fett indica or sativa?

Bubba Fett is an indica dominant hybrid, usually rated about 70% indica and 30% sativa. It opens with a quick, cheerful lift from the Stardawg father and then settles into the heavy body calm of Pre-98 Bubba Kush. The plant grows short and bushy like a classic Kush.

What is Bubba Fett a cross of?

Bubba Fett is a cross of Pre-98 Bubba Kush and Stardawg. Pre-98 Bubba Kush is a late 1990s indica cut with a hash and coffee flavour, and Stardawg comes from Chemdawg 4 and Tres Dawg, which adds sour fuel and extra resin. An unrelated autoflower shares the name, so check the genetics when you buy.

How strong is Bubba Fett?

Bubba Fett usually tests between 20% and 28% THC, with CBD under 0.5%. It hits fast and builds into a heavy, relaxed body effect within the hour. Most people find a small amount is enough, and it is best kept for the evening.

How long does Bubba Fett take to flower?

Bubba Fett flowers in 7 to 9 weeks, or about 49 to 63 days from the switch to 12 hours of light. Outdoors in Canada it is usually ready in late September or the first days of October. Plants that take after the Stardawg father tend to need the extra week.
