Super Boof Strain Feminized Marijuana Seeds

Price range: $65.00 through $240.00

Super Boof is the orange-and-cherry hybrid that proved a joke name can carry a serious plant: Black Cherry Punch crossed with Tropicana Cookies, testing 22% to 28% THC, balanced enough for a daytime session and coloured enough to stop people mid-sentence. It flowers in 8 to 9 weeks, stretches moderately to around 160 cm indoors, and forgives more mistakes than most strains with this much flavour. The seeds are feminized, viability tested in our Vancouver seed bank, and delivered inside Canada in 3 to 7 business days in plain packaging.

Super Boof Feminized at a glance: a balanced 50/50 hybrid that flowers in 8 to 9 weeks, tests 22% to 28% THC, yields 450 to 600 g/m², and combines orange citrus and dark cherry flavour with purple, orange-haired buds that colour up in a Canadian September.

Grown for a Canadian season, shipped from a Canadian seed bank

Super Boof finishes in 8 to 9 weeks, which is exactly the window a Canadian summer gives you, and the cool nights that arrive in September are what bring out its purple. The seeds are already here: they leave our Vancouver, BC seed bank in plain packaging, reach every province in 3 to 7 business days, and never see a customs officer. Each batch is viability tested before it ships and covered by our 80% germination guarantee, with buy one get one free on every 10 and 25 seed pack.

Where Super Boof comes from

Super Boof is a cross of Black Cherry Punch, itself a Black Cherry Pie and Purple Punch descendant known for its colour and dessert sweetness, and Tropicana Cookies, the orange-scented Girl Scout Cookies offspring that dominated the citrus category for a decade. The pairing was released around 2020 and spread on the strength of one thing: a flavour that tastes like orange candy dipped in cherry syrup, on a plant that is not difficult.

The name is a running joke (“boof” being slang for low-grade weed) that stuck precisely because the strain is the opposite. It is a genuine 50/50 hybrid: Tropicana’s upbeat, talkative first hour and Black Cherry Punch’s slow, smiling relaxation share the plant almost equally.

Effects and experience

Super Boof comes on fast and bright. Within a few minutes there is a clear head lift and a giggly, sociable mood, which is the Tropicana side. It stays functional for a good hour, which is why it has become a favourite for afternoons, walks and music, before the cherry side rounds the edges off and eases into a relaxed, unbothered state without the sedation of a true indica.

At 22% to 28% THC it is strong, but the balanced profile makes it more forgiving than the numbers suggest. Two hours in, most people are relaxed and still upright.

Flavour, aroma and appearance

The nose is sweet orange first, the kind of citrus you get from Tropicana Cookies, then a darker cherry and a little cookie dough. Ground up, there is a faint sour tang. The smoke is smooth and tastes like the smell: orange candy on the inhale, cherry and vanilla on the exhale.

Visually it is one of the best plants in the catalogue. Buds are medium to large, moderately dense, and turn from lime green to deep purple and near-black in the last three weeks when nights cool, with bright orange pistils across the top. In a Canadian outdoor garden in late September the contrast is startling.

Growing Super Boof in Canada

Indoors

Super Boof is an easy plant with one habit to manage: stretch. It roughly doubles after the flip, so veg for three to four weeks only, or plan on 160 cm plants in a standard tent. It is a light to moderate feeder, tolerates beginner mistakes with nutrients, and finishes in 56 to 63 days. Keep the room at 22 to 26 degrees and drop night temperature to 17 or 18 degrees in the last three weeks; that is the trigger for the purple. Humidity is less critical than with the dense dessert strains, but 50% or under in late flower is still wise.

Outdoors, by region

This is a strain that fits most of Canada. In BC and southern Ontario, plant out in late May and harvest in the last week of September or the first week of October; the buds handle a little rain better than most. In Quebec and the Maritimes, a late May transplant and a sheltered, south-facing spot usually finish by the first week of October. On the Prairies, start indoors in early April so the plant has size when it goes out in late May, and it will finish in the last days of September, right before the first hard frost in most years. A fabric pot you can move under an overhang for a cold night is good insurance.

Height and training

Top once early and use low stress training to spread the branches; the wide structure controls the stretch and gives a dozen colas of decent size. A single net at flip is enough. The branches are strong, so heavy bud support is rarely needed until the last two weeks. Our low stress training guide covers the method.

Flowering and harvest cues

Pistils turn orange from week six and the colour change starts at the same time, which tempts early harvests. Wait for the trichomes: cloudy with the first few amber, usually day 58 to 63, is the flavour peak. The orange terpenes are volatile, so dry cool and slow, 15 to 18 degrees for 12 days, and jar at 62% humidity. Cured properly, the citrus holds for months.

Yield

Indoors, 450 to 600 g/m² is normal for a trained canopy, and the buds are easy to trim. Outdoors in a full BC or Ontario season, a plant in the ground or a 60 litre pot gives 600 to 800 g dried, and the yield per plant on the Prairies with a shorter season is still 400 to 500 g. The combination of a moderate flowering time, real weight and top-tier flavour is why Super Boof has become the strain we point to when someone wants a modern hybrid without a difficult grow.

Who Super Boof is for, and who should pick something else

Grow Super Boof if you want colour and flavour on a plant that will not punish a first mistake, if you need a daytime strain that still relaxes, or if you garden outdoors anywhere from Vancouver to Halifax and want something that finishes by early October.

Pick something else if you want a heavy evening indica, where Biscotti is the better dessert pick; if your tent is under 150 cm tall and you would rather not manage the stretch; or if you want maximum potency, where Cap Junky tests higher.

How Super Boof compares

Tropicana Cookies, its parent, is more purely citrus and more energetic, with a smaller plant. Cherry Punch sits on the other side of the family: sweeter, heavier, more relaxing. Among our hybrid feminized seeds, Super Boof is the one that does both jobs, and it features in our best outdoor seeds for Canada guide for its September finish.

Frequently asked questions

Is Super Boof indica or sativa?

Super Boof is a balanced hybrid, close to 50% indica and 50% sativa. The Tropicana Cookies parent gives it a bright, sociable first hour and the Black Cherry Punch parent brings the relaxed finish, so it works in the afternoon and the evening. The plant grows like a medium hybrid with a strong stretch after the flip.

How strong is Super Boof?

Super Boof tests between 22% and 28% THC with CBD under 0.5%. That is a strong strain, but the balanced profile makes it easier to handle than an indica of the same number. The effect arrives quickly, peaks in the first hour and eases off over the next two without heavy sedation.

What does Super Boof taste like?

Sweet orange candy on the inhale, then dark cherry, vanilla and a little cookie dough on the exhale. The citrus comes from Tropicana Cookies and the cherry from Black Cherry Punch. The orange terpenes fade if the buds are dried too warm, so a slow, cool dry keeps the flavour.

Can I grow Super Boof outdoors in Canada?

Yes, in most of the country. It finishes in 8 to 9 weeks of flower, so BC, Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes harvest in late September or the first week of October. Prairie growers should start plants indoors in early April and expect a harvest in the last days of September, with a plan to cover plants on a frost night.
