Gas Face Strain Feminized Marijuana Seeds

Price range: $65.00 through $240.00

Gas Face strain is exactly what the name promises: a loud, diesel-first hybrid built from Face Mints and a Biscotti and Sherb backcross, testing 24% to 30% THC with a nose of jet fuel, chem, lemon peel and a cool mint finish. It leans indica at about 70/30, flowers in 9 to 10 weeks and stays between 90 and 140 cm in a tent, so it suits growers who already have a couple of harvests behind them and a good carbon filter. Our feminized Gas Face seeds are already in Canada, stored in our Vancouver seed bank and shipped domestically in 3 to 7 business days.

Gas Face Feminized at a glance: Gas Face is an indica dominant hybrid, roughly 70/30, that flowers in 9 to 10 weeks, tests 24% to 30% THC and returns 400 to 550 g/m² of dense, lime and plum coloured buds with a sharp diesel, chem and minty lemon aroma.

From checkout to cured jar in about five months, and the first week is the parcel

A Gas Face run looks like this: seeds arrive within a week, two to three weeks of seedling and veg follow, then ten weeks of flower and three to four weeks of drying and curing. The one part you control at the start is how quickly the seeds reach you. Ours ship from our Vancouver, BC seed bank in plain packaging and land anywhere in Canada in 3 to 7 business days, with no customs declaration or broker fee along the way. Each lot is germination tested before it is packed and backed by our 80% germination guarantee, and 10 and 25 seed packs come buy one get one free.

Where Gas Face comes from

Gas Face strain comes from the Face Off OG family, one of the most respected fuel lines of the last decade. The most widely reported pedigree crosses Face Mints, itself a pairing of Face Off OG and Kush Mints, with a backcrossed line of Biscotti and Sherb. The original breeder never published a detailed family tree, so you will see small variations online, but every credible source agrees on the Face Mints side, and the smell confirms it.

The dessert half matters more than it first appears. Biscotti and Sherb bring a sweet, doughy base and the dense, colourful bud structure that modern buyers expect, while Face Off OG and Kush Mints supply the fuel, the mint and the heavy resin. Gas Face also has a well known cousin in Animal Face, which shares the Face Off OG parent but leans sativa and fruit. Gas Face went the other way: darker, heavier and built around fuel.

Gas Face strain effects and experience

The first few minutes bring a strong head rush with pressure across the forehead and a noticeable lift in mood. Many people feel briefly creative and talkative. That window is short. Within half an hour the body side arrives as a warm, heavy relaxation through the shoulders and legs, and by the hour mark Gas Face is a sit-down strain. The full session runs two to three hours.

At 24% to 30% THC this is strong flower, and the fast onset makes it easy to overshoot. People who are sensitive to racy highs sometimes find the opening minutes intense, so a single small draw and a ten minute wait is the sensible start.

Gas Face flavour, aroma and appearance

Open a jar and the first note is sharp, almost industrial fuel, the kind that fills the room before the lid is off. Behind it sit chem, pepper and a squeeze of lemon peel, and on a slow exhale a cool mint and a faint vanilla dough come through from the dessert parents. Caryophyllene usually leads the terpene profile, with limonene, myrcene and a little humulene and linalool filling in.

The buds are compact and golf ball shaped, lime green with plum and violet patches when nights drop in late bloom, and buried under a thick, greasy layer of trichomes. Orange pistils curl tightly against the calyxes.

Growing Gas Face in Canada

Indoors

Gas Face is a moderate grow with two demands: odour control and a dry finish. Veg for four weeks from seed and flip at around 50 cm; expect a stretch of 1.5 to 1.8 times to a final 90 to 140 cm. The plant feeds at a medium level and appreciates extra calcium and magnesium under LED. Day temperatures of 23 to 27 degrees suit it, and from week five of flower humidity should sit at 40% to 45%, because the buds close up tight and can hide botrytis. Run a carbon filter sized for the whole room from the second week of bloom; this strain is not subtle. Our page on managing cannabis odour covers filters and airflow.

Outdoors, by region

Nine to ten weeks of flower makes Gas Face a coastal BC and southern Ontario plant outdoors. On the Sunshine Coast, the Lower Mainland and the east side of Vancouver Island, transplant in late May into a sunny bed with good drainage and harvest in the first half of October, ideally with a clear plastic roof over the plant for the final fortnight of rain. In Niagara, Essex and the Lake Erie shoreline, a warm September usually carries it to an early October finish, but space plants at least a metre apart for airflow. Prairie, northern Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic growers will do far better in a tent or a heated greenhouse, where the October damp never reaches the colas.

Height and training

Top above the fourth node and spread the branches with low stress training to build an even, flat canopy of eight to ten tops. A single trellis net at the flip holds everything in place. Gas Face has a fairly tight node spacing, so a light lollipop of the lower third at day 21 of flower removes larfy sites and opens the interior to air.

Flowering and harvest cues

Pistils darken around week seven, but the resin keeps maturing for another two to three weeks. Check trichomes with a loupe from day 60: mostly cloudy with 5% to 10% amber gives the brightest version of the effect, while 15% amber or more pushes it toward heavy and sleepy. Dry whole branches for 12 to 14 days at about 60% humidity and 18 degrees. The fuel note is loud from day one, but the mint and lemon only come forward after two to three weeks in the jar.

Gas Face yield indoors and outdoors

Expect 400 to 550 g/m² from a trained indoor canopy under a quality LED, with dense buds that keep most of their weight through drying. A full-season outdoor plant on the BC coast gives 500 to 750 g per plant in a 60 litre pot or a raised bed. The real bonus is resin: Gas Face returns well above average in hash and rosin, so trim and small buds are worth saving. For help estimating a harvest before it comes down, see our yield per plant guide.

Who Gas Face is for, and who should pick something else

Gas Face feminized seeds are a strong choice if you love OG fuel and want it with more frost and a sweeter finish, if you press rosin, or if you have already grown a few photoperiod strains and want a step up in potency. It also suits small tents, since it rarely passes 140 cm.

Look elsewhere if you have no way to control smell, if you want a daytime strain, or if you are planning an outdoor garden east of Ontario or on the Prairies. Growers who like the Face Off family but want a lighter, fruitier daytime plant should look at Animal Face instead.

How Gas Face compares

Kush Mints, its grandparent, is less gassy and more minty, with a slightly easier finish. GMO is the other heavy fuel strain on our shelf, but it trades the lemon and mint for garlic and grows much taller. Jet Fuel offers a similar diesel nose on a sativa leaning plant with a far more energetic effect. Among our indica dominant feminized seeds, Gas Face is the pick for growers who rank smell above everything else, and it fits alongside the other 25% plus strains in our high THC seeds guide.

Frequently asked questions about Gas Face

What strain is Gas Face?

Gas Face is an indica dominant hybrid made by crossing Face Mints with a Biscotti and Sherb backcross. Face Mints itself comes from Face Off OG and Kush Mints, which explains the strong fuel and mint aroma. The exact breeding notes were never fully published, so small variations in the listed lineage are common.

Is Gas Face indica or sativa?

Gas Face is indica dominant, roughly 70% indica and 30% sativa. It opens with a short, bright head rush and then settles into a heavy body relaxation within half an hour. In the garden it reaches a medium height and carries tight, heavy flowers.

How strong is Gas Face?

Gas Face usually tests between 24% and 30% THC, with CBD under 0.5%. That places it among the stronger strains we sell, and the onset is fast, so start with a small amount and wait ten minutes before taking more.

What does Gas Face smell like?

Gas Face smells like sharp diesel fuel first, followed by chem, black pepper and lemon peel. On the exhale a cool mint and a little sweet dough appear, which come from the Kush Mints and Biscotti sides of the family. The aroma is strong enough that indoor growers need a carbon filter.

Why Gas Face is the Face Off OG descendant we suggest for growers who want fuel over fruit

We have shipped seeds from Vancouver, BC since 2009, so a Gas Face order never leaves the country. Parcels go out in plain, unbranded packaging and arrive in 3 to 7 business days from coast to coast. Orders above $200 ship free, and a $30 tracked and insured upgrade gives you a tracking number plus one free reshipment if the parcel goes astray.

Before planting, follow the cup of water and paper towel method in our germination guide; it is the method our 80% germination guarantee is built on. Gas Face comes in 5, 10 and 25 seed packs, and the two larger sizes are buy one get one free, so a fuel strain and a sweeter partner can share one order. Cross $420 in one order and 10 free seeds are tucked in.

You can pay with Interac e-Transfer, credit card, Bitcoin or cash. If you want a second opinion on filter size or harvest timing, our team answers by phone, email, WhatsApp and live chat seven days a week.
